After being carried by my husband, put into the back of my truck , and taken to the hospital, I knew that I had to do something. So I did...the emergency room. I received muscle relaxers and pain relievers, I went to physical therapy. Nothing worked. I went to a neurologist who sent me for nerve blocks...it didn't work. I went to back specialists they said I didn't need sugrey, that was a relief. Finally an orthopedic doctor perscribed me Celebrx for a "hip bursitis". That finally blocked most of the pain.
I was only thiry years old and dependent on Celebrex to get me through the day. After 7 years of doing something, I was compelled to do something else. With much persuasion and out of desperation, I convinced my husband that going to a chiropractor would help me. I was referred to Belcher Chiropractic Center a year prior, so I finally made the call.
From the first phone call to the waiting room, the office staff, the doctors and first adjustment, I knew that I made the right decision.
